A private wheel-throwing lesson for one person. the instructor is with you the whole time.
we start with the basics: centering, opening the clay, and pulling up the walls.
wheel throwing takes a bit of patience, so the instructor stays next to you throughout the lesson and helps with each step.
what you will create
- your first pieces made on the pottery wheel
- usually one piece that stays for firing
- sometimes two pieces may work out, but it is not guaranteed
- ceramics with the natural trace of wheel work

- clay, engobes, and standard tools
- instructor guidance throughout the workshop
