A workshop for anyone who wants to try working on a potter's wheel from the very beginning. You work alone at your own wheel and the instructor guides you through the whole process step by step.

This format is purely individual — all of the instructor's attention is focused on you. That makes it ideal even for complete beginners who really want to get a feel for throwing and have maximum support during the session. Great as a gift or a moment of peaceful time just for yourself.

What You Will Create

• Your own piece thrown on the potter's wheel — a mug, bowl or vase

• A piece with the characteristic trace of the wheel and the natural irregularity of hand-thrown ceramics

• An original piece you'll be able to use after firing and glazing
